Sneedville Campaign

 Working the Army of the Pines to retake Sneedville.   Based on the Knoxville campaign plan Hey Diddle Diddle, I provided three courses of action for General Stiner; 1-2 Secure Parkey Gap and Rebel Hollow to deny Commander Patton and his Jones' Army the ability to advance west from Sneedsville. 3-4 Secure Riley Church and establish a forward staging area to retake Sneedsville. 5-6 Hold the crossroads south of Hopewell Bridge to deny rapid access to Tazewell and Cumberland Gap. I rolled a two and issued the following order; Rapidly deploy the horse regiments from Harrogate and the combined Sneedville, Bean Station regiment (minus) to secure Parkey Gap. Follow on with the remainder of the Army of the Pines to reinforce the position and deny Jones' Army access through the gap.  Be prepared to advance on Sneedville on order. Midnight Express to Z'bosia

An OV-10D Bronco slips in quietly over the coast on a reconnaissance flight over the newly established Peoples Republic of Z'bosia following the latest of a series of military coups. The mission was to confirm HUMINT reports of Russian inluence spreading into the area. Five minutes over the border and a burst of red tracers erupt from the jungle ripping through the port nacelle destroying the engine. William "Bronco Billy" Haydn pulled back on the yoke, struggling to get the aircraft to 500 feet AGL the minimum safe altitude for ejection. He punched the send button on the burst satcom to data dump all the imagery he'd collected since crossing the border then yanked the eject ring sending him into the night sky. After departing Ghul Akbar's shura, having been told only to find the heretics and smite them, Malik Nangial Sahi gathered his most trusted cousins Rostum Mahsud and Sharim Rizui and traveled south towards Maidan. Here they met two other cousins Zorak Sahi and Gul Sabani both fine marksmen with the most accurate jezzails ever crafted east of the Indus. They recommended two of their cousins armed with matchlocks and chora, Zarghi and Zarin, who brought their youngest brother Gul along for good measure.
